Performance issue with NX 11

Hello,

since we updated to NX 11 the performance of NX seems to be very poor. E.g. when having a part file containing only two linked bodies, the selection of one of these bodies can take several minutes. Making the solid visible or unvisible can take even more time.

Is there a way to speed the process up?

The data are located on a SSD and the machine has 32 GB of RAM and Xenon Processors with 3,5 GHz.The machine is not running on full load.

Any suggestions?

Best regards.

What type of graphics are you running?

Hello,

the graphic card is a NVIDA Quadro K4000.

Thanks!

Hi,

Probably you might want to have a look at the GTAC customer Forum archive sections also.

This is just an very old thread so i am not sure if this works for you.

Do you have "Highlight Original" preference switched on? If so make sure you are saving files will Rollback data.

Re: Performance issue with NX 11

Which version did you upgrade from? How complicated are the linked bodies? Take a look at the Facet Scale in Visualization Preferences > Faceting. If it is set to Part, change it to Fixed and see if that makes any improvements on performance.
