UGZIPC 64-bit

I found a version of UGZIPC that will run 64-bit.  Problem is that there seems to be a limit on the path length string.  It truncates some of the files in the list and so cannot find that file when it tries to zip it.  Would anyone have a solution?  I am aware of NX's in-house vb utility but I like the interface of ugzipc better.

Thanks.

The latest copy I have, the .dll is dated 09/28/2012.

Have you tried running it with the 'Store Pathname' option toggled OFF?

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

Windows reports "Date modified" on my version as 7/30/2010.  Would you mind emailing me your copy?

I tried it with "Store Pathname" on and off.  Neither works.

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

How about downloading it from the GTAC 'scratch' area?  I just uploaded a file named 'ugzipc_new.zipper'.  After downloading it, edit the extension changing .zipper to .zip and then extract the files.  It should be available for the next 48 hours or so.

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

Thanks, John.  I set it up per instructions but it wouldn't fire.  DLL not compiled for public use maybe?

Yes, it does.

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

Hi All,

I just remembered that UGzipC was also attached to the NX custom files. I picked this one from the NX 9.0 NXCustom.

Sorry did not had the time to test it, but I know for sure that this dll used to work at least for NX 8.5. And I know, it is signed.

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

This will not run either.  Same user message but different log file info.  I retried my older one just to make sure it still runs and it does.

Re: UGZIPC 64-bit

This is how I do it:

I place the 'ugzipc.dlg' and 'ugzipc_win64.dll' files in my User 'application' folder and the 'ugzipc.men' in my User  'startup' folder.  I then used Customize to add the 'Zip Assembly...' item to the File pull-down menu.

And it works in both NX 9.0 and NX 10.0.
