How can I make an HR cross pipe model?

I want to make some model using Hydraulic Resistance library

This model consists of cross pipe

But, I can't find any cross pipe component in Hydraulic Resistance library.

How can I make an HR cross pipe model?

Could I use two T-junction model instead of one cross pipe model?

yes you can use two Tee junctions and a central pipe, something like this picture:

Hi Kuro,

 

ah....  I was a bit too quick with my intrerpreation of a cross pipe ^^

Indeed there is no submodel of such a junction with pressure losses.

 

For this, I would start with a simple/ideal 4-port node from the hydraumlic library and compare it with other alternatives such as chaining Tee junctions. For my simple test-case the differences in flow rate could be considered acceptable - your call!

Though I have to say I don't like the succession of Tee junctions as it's not symmetrical and will depend on flow direction. Another option could be to consider a central volume and four fixed discrete losses at each port.
