How to find the differences between 2 versions of a circuit

Hi all !

Quick question here, if somebody can help me out.

I have two versions of the same circuit, how do I find out about the differences between them?

Thank you, have a nice day !

J.

Hello Julie,
You need to load both files. Both circuits have to be in parameter mode.
Then go to Tools/Compare Systems
That's it

Hello,

Thanks mAx you beat me to it. All I have to do is add some pictures:

The setup before launching the comparison:

And finally the outcome, you'll see the differences for:

- parameters

- global parameters

- components added/deleted

- if the connections have changed

And you can copy selected parameters values from one model to the other:

Thank you Max and Emanuel, that's very clear !!!!

And if you happen to be using LMS Sysdm then you can start a compare directly from LMS Sysdm by just configuring LMS Amesim as your "diff" tool. With this you can make comparisons between several versions of your Amesim model

See the screenshots for more information

Colors are used to identify how models and components are different. Differences can be related to submodels, parameter values, added components...
