I am handling a "generic" valve full piloted with GP.
I can switch from diverse caliber from valve with the help of GP.
For that I can load an .gp file which set the parameter for the desired caliber.
*is it possible to load the gp file with command line, or do we just have the possibilty to load it from gp window?
*in my gp files, I have a group a parameter "piston catalog"; unfortunately I don't achieve to reach what I want.
For instance for caliber A I have 3 pistons A1 / A2 / A3
For caliber B I have 4 pistons B1 / B2 / B3 / B4
when I open the gp window, I load the gp file, and I overwrite all the parameters.
Then my catalog has A1/A2/A3/B1/B2/B3/B4
I was expecting, that the load of gp file, loads only the pistons of the desired caliber (and not add to the present catalog)
I hope you understand what I mean
thank you in advance

There is no direct way to load/save gp from the command line but it's quite stratightforward to write a Python script and then use "AMEPython script.py" as a DOS command line to execute that script.
WIth the API in Python you will be able to :
- add gp
- remove them
- change the values of existing ones
- manage groups
Check in Amehelp the Function Index and search for "global" to see what's possible.
