Clipping Plane

Currently I'm working with model that has big geometry. Recently I started using Clipping Plane but I'm having a problem with it because I can't define increment value. What I mean by this is that using the ALT + middle button to move the clipping plane have too big steps.
Is there a way to control increment value.
My current solution is to create a point at a given location that I want my clipping plane and use that to define a plane.

Thanks in advance.

If you go into /File/Preferences... and select the User Interface Tab, in the mouse interface group (near bottom on left side) there is a "Wheel Factor for Dynamic Plane". The default is 1.0 - if you change it to 0.1, it will move in increments of 1/10 of normal.
