This is a typical error when defining edge source regions: branching is not allowed!!. The NX NASTRAN requirement for the edge region is that the list of nodes should be consecutive, continuous, in the case of a loop the starting node will be the end node as well. If you have a branch, ie, a T-region like, and you select all the nodes of the "T" region, then the order is not continuos, you have a branching.
in the case of a "T" like edges you need to define a minimum of TWO SOURCE REGIONS, one for the wedge and another region for the flange.
in the case of a "double-T" like edges you need to define a minimum of THREE SOURCE REGIONS, a region for each flange (in total two) and another one for the wedge, etc..
Alternatively, in the case of a "double-T" like edges you can define a region selecting the "C-like" edges and another two regions for each half flange, understood?.
Also, is critical to name SOURCE region to the edge-based region, and TARGET the "surface" region. Run this way and you will success defining a GLUE EDGE-TO-FACE condition with FEMAP & NX Nastran.
