I run CamStudio for video recording.
CamStudio is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files and using its built-in SWF Producer can turn those AVIs into lean, mean, bandwidth-friendly Streaming Flash videos (SWFs), and completely 100% free for your personal and commercial projects as CamStudio and the Codec are released under the GPL (GNU Public License).
I did not know there was an open source of CamStudio. Thanks for the info.
I tried Wink this weekend and it crashes when recording long videos. But it is useful for video with few minutes.
Thanks and regards,
I use Screencast-O-Matic. The free version has a watermark and only alows up to 2 minutes of recording. It does high quality and has the option of webcam and computer audio as well as mic audio. You can decide to capture your mouse, or not. The paid version is I think $10 a year.
