I have imported a assembly from inventor, but I have problems getting contact between the materials.

So I think it is better to start fresh

I have seen the following video:

I am a total noob, so my qeustion is how can I make this geometry?

Geometry -> Solid -> Primitives..

Now you have cube with center in (0,0) and edge lenght as 1 unit.

Geometry -> Curve-Line -> Continuousl..

Create curve from point (-0.5,0,0.5) to (-0.5,0,0.5) as example or where you needed.

Thats all, so easy!

And where can I set the diameter of the beam/rod?

Expand the model info tree, right click on the property and choose "Edit".  This will bring you to the define Property dialog box where you can edit the area for rod elements or the shape for beam elements.

Thank you, i'm now a step further!

I follow the video however after meshing the solids from elements I get the following error:

The concrete is not solid.

I also used a beam type instead of a rod type,
then i get the following error:

I have watched the video, but I can't find the solution for my problem.

The rods/beams do mesh without problems, surface mesh also.

But the final step, the solid mesh gives the ERROR: Another tetra_session is active (-1).

How can I solve this?

Maybe I can send my model so someone can look in to it?
