Mesh Points on Curve

With Mesh > Mesh Control > Mesh Points on Surface, you can force mesh points on a surface based on nodes or points.  I use this often when I remove holes from a surface, so that I have a spot to connect a 1-d element (I typically have FEMAP do this automatically in the Meshing toolbox).

I've been looking for, but have yet to find, a way to put mesh points on a curve.  Is there any way to force a mesh point onto a curve, similar to how it's done on a surface?  A lot of times I want to attach 1-d elements to the edge of a plate, and the only way I've found to force a mesh point at a given location is with Mesh > Mesh Control > Custom Size Along Curve.  The only problem with this approach is that if you make any changes to the number of elements along the curve, the mesh points that you created are lost.

Hello!,

Use MODIFY > BREAK, not matter if the curve is isolated or is the edge of a surface the curve will be broken by the coordinate you say, then a node will be there for sure!.

Also, you can use the MESHING TOOLBOX > GEOMETRY EDITING  > CURVE BREAK.

Best regards,

Blas.
