Plot Connector Region Normals

Is there a way to plot the connector region normals?

Also is edge to edge and edge to face contact supported for CQUAD4 elements?

I'm running FEMAP 11.1.2

Dear Stressman,

To see the normal vector on regions simply activate SHOW NORMALS in the HighLighter icon and set ON.. Next click in any region and you will see the arrows.

Regarding edge-to-edge contact "no penetration" it is supported only for 2-D solid plane stress, plain strain and axisymmetric "body-of-revolution" analysis meshing with QUAD & TRIA elements, then forgot at all to use this feature with general Shell elements. Not available yet EDGE-TO-FACE contact "no penetration". Take a look to NX NASTRAN manuals, all is there ...

Here you are an example showing the use of edge-to-edge contact "no penetration" in a Linear Static AXISYMMETRIC analysis using NX NASTRAN (SOL101) solver:

For your information, here you are an example of EDGE-TO-EDGE "GLUE" with Shell CQUAD4 elements after solving a modal eigenvalue analysis using NX NASTRAN (SOL103):
