I am new to both FEMAP and finite element analysis in general, so I am hoping someone can lend a hand. I am trying to simulate the rotation of a basic plus-shaped fan so that I can analyze out of plane vibration at certain frequencies of rotation.
If anyone has any basic help they could offer, or could point me in the direction of useful tutorials, that would be great.
If you are trying to include the dynamic effects of the rotation, this would require the NX Nastran Dynamic Response module plus the NX Nastran Rotor Dynamics module.
Rotor Dynamics can be simulated using Normal Modes or Transient Dynamics methods.
