SOL(601) and SOL(106)

Hello,

I have a few questions for the nonlinear and advanced nonlinear modules.

 

1. Is it possible to simulate large displacement with a high amount of connection regions with the SOL(106) module ?

(As I know, there is just the way to use CGAP Elements for connections, because surface to surface will not be support )

 

2. Is it possible to get the advanced nonlinear module SOL(601) for the trial version ?

 

3. What is the price for a noncommercial  license of Femap with NX Nastran ( including SOL(601)) , is there maybe a discount for scientific and student versions ?

  1. NX NASTRAN Nonlinear Basic module (SOL106) do not support surface-to-surface contact, only 1-D node-to-node CGAP elements & point-to-line SLIDELINE contact elements.

  • 45-Days FEMAP Trial License do not includes the Advanced Nonlinear Module (SOL601/701). Please contact with your SIEMENS local reseller in your country to request a DEMO license of full FEMAP & NX Nastran.
  • Femap with NX Nastran: Basic Educational License (E080) bundle of 100 licenses can be ordered from any FEMAP local reseller in your country. The floating license is for up to 100 simultaneous users. Please note this is for Universities only. Bundle includes:
