I've got nodal temperature loads defined to define bolt preload. I don't need help with that specifically, rather, I need to know how to apply the temperature preload andother varying loads (linear ramp-up of some nodal forces).
I tried load combinations which contain both the temperature and the scaled load I want, but I get this message:
"Error writing Combined Load Set 3, Temperature Loads are not supported in Static LOAD Combinations. Check Translation."
So, do I really have to define a second material for my bolt, with a different reference temperature? Is that the best practice in this case? Seems like it, if the nodal temperature preload is not allowed to be combined.
