Solid geometry corruption on solid delete

Attached is a model which exhibits geometry corruption in FEMAP v11.3.2 64-bit.

 

  1. Open model junk8-1.modfem
  2. Delete top row of solids (71, 72, 59, 82, 26, 15, 16, 3)
  3. Save as a new model...
    1. Note warning that geometry has been compromised.
  4. Reopen saved model.
    1. Note geometry corruption.

I'd appreciate a work-around, or just that it'll be fixed in a future release.

Dear Kava,

Export your geometry as PARASOLID using FILE > EXPORT  GEOMETRY > Parasolid XMT (Version 29.0) > ok > SELECT ALL command and next create a new FEMAP database and do FILE > IMPORT > GEOMETRY  and select the previously created Parasolid file, and you are done!.

Thanks Blas, but the real model is already fully defined, so I can't do a reimport of all the geometry (mesh and loads are all defined on the geometry).

No problem, import mesh & loads using FILE > MERGE command and associate the mesh to the geometry using MODIFY > ASSOCIATIVITY > AUTOMATIC.
