Static initial conditions for a nonlinear transient analysis

I need to define static initial conditions for a nonlinear transient analysis (NTA).

I've tried using Model/Load/From results... from a nonlinear static OP2 to define an initial displacement field (selecting each DOF component as appropriate), and then I applied it in the master initial conditions in the NTA configuration. But I'm getting a really cryptic error (for possibly all DOF on all nodes):

 

 *** USER FATAL MESSAGE 2133 (DPD4)
     INITIAL CONDITION IN SET            1 SPECIFIED COMPONENT  6 ON POINT       695221 IS NOT IN ANALYSIS SET.
     User information:
     Initial conditions can only be specified for analysis set points.
     Therefore the point/component mentioned on TIC entries must
     belong to the d- or h- sets.

 

Update: I think this may be because I have RBE2 elements in the model. I don't think you can apply enforced displacements on them. If so, what is the right way to do this?

 

It seems to have been the RBE and coupling equation nodes which wouldn't take intial conditions. I've removed those nodes from the load set and the analysis is now running at least. I'm still not sure if this is the right way to apply initial conditions though. Any feedback would be appreciated.
