USER FATAL MESSAGE 507 (XCSA)

Hello,

I found an issue in the Analisys Manager in Femap v11.3.1. If I write a big number in the Max Time textbox, it will be a user fatal message:

TIME 1000000000
*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 507 (XCSA)
ILLEGAL SPECIFICATION OR FORMAT ON PRECEDING CARD
User information:
Executive control statements cannot have equal (=) signs.

FatalMessage507_1.jpg

If I don't write in this textbox such a big number (or don't use this textbox) there wont be any user fatal message.

There is an another issue too:

If I write text "Fatal" in the title textbox of Analisys Manager, or my filename has this text, I will get a false message:

FatalMessage507_2.jpg

FatalMessage507_3.jpg

FatalMessage507_4.jpg

Best regards

On the first topic, that is not a Femap problem.. you have selected a number larger than the maximum NX Nastran value allowable for Time (3.15 E7 from the Quick Reference Guide). There are many things where Femap does not do a validity check on values that NX Nastran will not accept.

Presumably the second issue is that the messages review window simply does a scan for the text "FATAL" in the .f06 file and reports a Fatal error if the text is found, which it will be if the analysis title includes the word.
