arbitrary 3D interpolation-speed up evaluation

Hello,

 

I have a model which must be loaed with a pressure using the 3D arbitary option (around 30000 points). This pressure is applied onto around 3000 surfaces. The issue is that it takes 7 minutes to evaluate it. As i have to make it 70 times the process takes hours. Then solving (static) is just 1 hour or less for all 70 load cases. This is the point. Writing the *.dat takes more than solving.

 

Is there any trick to speed up this process. The processador is "good" enough(I think): i5-5300CPU 2.30Ghz

Dear Jon,

I do not see any immediate trick or feedback to suggest, the best I can tell you is please send me copy of your FEMAP model to get the FEMAP developers involved to investigate the problem and see if they can improve and optimize the "nastran input file write" task, OK?.
