BCTPARM CARD

Hello Community,

 

I'm trying to calculate a nomal Bolt Pre Load with 1D Elements.

After calculation, there's a displacement which is not possible.

Now someone told me, that i can fix this Problem with the REDFAC = 1 Parameter in the Nastran File.

 

But i don't know exactly where i can write i down.

If you want this to apply to all pairs, the format would be:

 

BCTPARM, 100, REDFAC, 1.0

 

If you wanted it to apply to an individual contact pair, the format would be:

 

BCTPARM, 101, REDFAC, 1.0

 

Note that BCTPARM is a bulk data card. It can be anywhere in bulk data. I'd suggest putting it near the BCTADD/BCTSET cards.
