Export max displacements to ASCI

Pioneer

Hello!
I would be really grateful if someone has advice or a solution for my problem. On the first view, the problem seems to be simple and small but until now I could not manage to do it.

I have a relatively simple model and im running a static analysis on it (sol 101). 4 Interfaces are fixed restrained and on the last interface an unit force is applied. My aim is to somehow export the max displacements in an automatable way. (Identify results -> export is not recordable unfortunately)

When I'm creating a report, a really great summarized table with the max displacements is printed in .htm. But this report has to be initialized first, which is not automatable either.

Is there a way to export the max displacements of the loadcase to an asci file like the .f06 or .pch?

I read something about the PARAM,PRTMAXIM but that does not deliver the desired results somehow (or does not change anything in the output files).

There's also the possibility to export ALL displacements to the punchfile. I could postprocess all the displacements and look for the max displacement, but I am not sure if this is not exaggerated for such a "simple" problem.

Thank you in advance

Kind regards

Benny

Hello!,

Insert in the nastran bulk data PARAM,PRTMAXIM,YES and you will have written in the F06 file the maximum results.

Thank you for your fast answer!

Unfortunately, I can't find this kind of results in my .f06 file although I activated prtmaxim.

Hello!,

The reason is because you are using the ITERATIVE SOLVER, not the DIRECT SPARSE SOLVER. Desactivate the iterative solver in the study definition and you will have written for sure the maximum results in the F06 file, OK?.

Best regards,

Blas.
