NX Nastran Surface Glue Error

[ Edited ]
I have three surfaces, 1.5MM apart. They are meshed with 2-D shells. The 2-D thickness are such that theoretically they would be layers adjacent to one another. I would like to model the surfaces as surface-to-surface gluing (SOLN 101), however I keep receiving the following error during solve:

*** ISHELL PROGRAM 'REFINE' COMPLETED ***
*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 4690 (FOCOEL)
INSUFFICENT MEMORY ALLOCATED FOR THE CONTACT/GLUE ANALYSIS
USER ACTION: INCREASE MEMORY REQUEST AND RERUN.

If one was going to model 2-D shells gluing like this, what is the best way, and what should my options be?

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: NX Nastran Surface Glue Error

Dear Jeff,
Simply increase the RAM memory devoted for the NX NASTRAN solver, choose EDIT SOLVER PARAMETERS in the Solution and under NX NASTRAN KEYWORDS try using MEM=1GB, and you are done!.
Best regards,
Blas.

Blas - thanks for the reply, however if I place something in the 'memory' field, it does not even start to run. Here is what I did, but it did not even get to create an f04/f06 file.

Re: NX Nastran Surface Glue Error

Dear Jeff,
Simply enter 1GB, do not include the MEM nastran keyword, this is the old method to launch the solver from the command prompt.
Best regards,
Blas.
