NX.Nastran and multiprocessing

Good morning,
I wonder if NX.Nastran v7.0 can use multiple processors. If yes, how must I setup it? I thought it is enough to specify NPROC=4. But when looking in the Windows Task manager on the power, only about 25pct of the CPU power is used during the analysis. Is this normal? I list the Nastran .log-file below.
My computer is DELL with processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5420 @ 2.50GHz having 4 cores. 8 GB RAM. My models have about 1,000,000 nodes, with 3D-elements have 3 DOF per node.

Of course, NX NASTRAN supports multiprocessing, is part of the system, and do not need to pay to support for additional processors like another FEA codes, the price of NX NASTRAN is the same o run models with FOUR CORES or EIGHT CORES, this is important.

But you need to activate multiple cores, if not only ONE core is used. Basically you need to use a NASTRAN KEYBOARD "PARALLEL=4" in case you have a QUAD CORE processor, etc..

The following pictures shows how to activate multiprocessing support in both FEMAP & NX ADVANCED SIMULATION.

Is there a way to make this setting permanent?
I have tried to add the string "PARALLEL=4" in Customer Defaults--->Simulation--->NASTRAN--->Solver Parameters--->Additional Keywords but it doesn't work.
If I open the Solver Parameters window from Solve--->Edit solver parameters the Additional Keywords field is blank and if I run the analisys only the 25-30% of processors is used on my quad-core workstation.

I am running NX 7.5.4 and was able to define additional keywords in the customer defaults and get them to show up in new solution sets after I restarted NX. What version of NX are you running?

You are right, after the restart the additional keyword is automatically added to new solutions. I thought I should have seen it also on existing sim/solutions.

Dear Giuseppe,
If you load an old SIM file with a solution where you din't used PARALLEL=4 then you will have to add command PARALLEL=4 by hand, this is not automatic done.
But if you delete the study or create a new one then you will see that PARALLEL=4 is added atomatically, OK?.
