Problem with Java Installation for activating the function Utility in Advanced Simulation

Dear All ,

I have a problem with accessing the function button in Response Simulation which is used to input the Sine or Random excitation loads to the model.It could be fixed with installing the JRE (Java Run time Environment) 1.7 . After that an environment variable needs to be set in the ugii_env.dat file which is ( UGII_JVM_OPTIONS=-Xmx64M) . I have done the same but the function window is not showing up . I have attached the images of the same .

Please let me know if you have some solution for the same .

Best Reg,

Satish

Re: Problem with Java Installation for activating the function Utility in Advanced Simulation

Hi Satish,

UGII_JVM_OPTIONS=-Xmx64M is not what you need.

What you need to setup is UGII_JVM_LIBRARY_DIR and point it to the appropriate "server" directory in JRE (at least on Win64).  Here's an example on one of our workstations:

UGII_JVM_LIBRARY_DIR=C:\Program Files\Java\jre8\bin\server
