Requirements (memory) disappeared from .f04 file

Hi there!

The title says it all actually. I am using NX 9.03

I have been looking for the best ways to simulate the bolt connections I need to create.

Since yesterday I noticed something strange. After a few days of modifying the rcf nastran config file I noticed that the 'memory requirements' are gone from the .f04 file. The entire section with requirements is gone.

Whatever I do to the rcf file, this section doesn't return.

I was experimenting with NX10 rcf settings like:

"mem=0.45*Physical
Smem=6Gb
Buffsize=65536
parallel=4"

Where I believe the original was something like

"Memory=estimate

Buffsize=8193"

I cannot verify this as I was stupid enough to forget making a backup before I started editing.

Can someone help me?

Of course, please replace the "..." with your server name or physical IP address.

Hi!

Thanks for responding!

Unfortunately those are not settings I can use. NX 9 does not seem to understand the 20.0X designation as I get errors every time I use something else than "xGb"
