Response analysis for a rotating shaft ...

Hi,

I try to setup a Response Analysies and have some problems. The system I try to simulate is a rotating bearing unit. I have build a FEM-Modell of the testing device and it works very well (modal analysis). For the definition of the Response anaysis I use enforced motion (rotating degree of freedom of the rotation axis) .I only could use a Halfsine function.
I like to make a simulation with a rotating axis with a constant rotation speed for example 100 Hz (=6000 rpm).
How Do I setup this kind simulation?

For Information: I have some measurements with two acceleration sensors on the bearung unit.

You would need to solve a Sol110 rotating structures. NX by default (the GUI) does not support the Sol110, so you have to output a Sol103 deck and modify the header of the file to satisfy the Sol110 requirements. There is the sample problem deck within the Nastran directory (in a "tpl" folder buried somewhere in there).
