Shock response spectrum analysis

Creator
Creator
Dear Nastran/FEMAP users,
I have to perform a SRS analysis, applying a SRS load as follows to an assembly model:

500 Hz -> 500 g
3000 Hz -> 2000 g
10000 Hz -> 2000 g

I have never done that: how do I apply this load to my model? Is there any tutorial or example available?

Thanks

Marco

Re: Shock response spectrum analysis

N/A

Marco,
There is a section in the NXN Advanced Dynamics guide that discusses shock response
simulation. It covers both creation of a spectrum from a transient solution and
the use of the spectrum. I think you are interested in the use of the spectrum so
concentrate on that part.
I have attached an example model you can review.
