Stress Wizard face change

Hi,

I'm using "Stress Wizard" for analysing a single part in NX6.
The calculation works and everything is fine.
But I have a question. Is it possible to change the face for loads or boundaries later on?
I am able to open the sim file and edit the simulation with the stress wizard by selecting the body again. But I can not delete the force and define a new one. Is that right or am I'm doing it wrong?
Or is the only possibility to make a new stress analysis?

Thanks.

Actually you can delete a Force (and a Constraint).
When you go to edit your previous solution and the Wizard dialog comes up
showing the list of steps which you had taken previously and which have been
saved, such as Material Assignment, Loads, Constraints, Answers and Report,
just select the 'Load' you wish to replace, press MB3 and select 'Delete'.
The load will be immediately deleted and you will automatically be offered
the option of selecting a load type to start the process of defining a new
load from scratch. You can do the same thing with the Constraints. Also
note that is you wish to you can just toggle OFF (suppress) any Load or
Constraint by selecting the red 'checkmark' in the list thus allowing you to
create multiple Loads and Constraints which you can toggle ON and OFF at
will to perform 'what-if' type scenarios.

Hi Sarah,

Re: Stress Wizard face change

Hi,

John, the behaviour you describe is correct when I am working with the strength wizard and Nastran4.
But now I have changed to Nastran7 and I am working with the stress wizard from the palette entry "Process Studio". And here I miss the list of the applied forces and constraints. How can I change the forces here? Or do I need a special configuration for the Process Studio Stress Wizard?
