Temperature Pre-load SOL 101 Global Constrain

Hello all,

I am trying to use temp preload in SOL 101 but it is not working as desired.

For simplification, I am using a beam model and applying temp load to see thermal expansion.

Setup 1 (see attached pic) doesnt work:  in the sense that the results are nothing near to expectations

Setup 2 (see attached pic) works

But I dont want to use setup 2 because I will be doing multistep analysis and would mean specifying thermal load for each substep.

Is there any other method to consider thermal preload only once similar like global constrain?

Or am I doing something wrong.

thanks in advance for your help

It works with both Setup ..made a mistake in the model ..

using nx sol 101 for the first time ...
