Hallo,

I have made an analysis with "NX Nastran Design- Solver". After performing the analysis the following error occurs in *.f06- file:

*** USER INFORMATION MESSAGE 7555 (ETETGD)
FINITE ELEMENT GEOMETRY CHECK RESULTS EXCEED TOLERANCE LEVELS FOR THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS.
USER ACTION: USE THE GEOMCHECK (EXECUTIVE CONTROL STATEMENT) KEYWORD=VALUE TO CHANGE TOLERANCE VALUES IF DESIRED.
ALL EDGE LENGTH TO HEIGHT RATIO (AR)TOLERANCE LIMIT VIOLATIONS WILL BE IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED BY FAIL.
A MINIMUM OF 100 EDGE NODE POINT LENGTH RATIO (ER)TOLERANCE LIMIT VIOLATIONS WILL BE IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED BY xxxx.
EDGE ANGLE VALUES ARE INDICATED BY AN * AFTER THE VALUE. THE TOLERANCE LIMIT IS 30 DEGREES.
ALL NEG/ZERO DET(JACOBIAN) VALUE (DJ)TOLERANCE LIMIT VIOLATIONS WILL BE IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED BY FAIL.

There are no results in simulation navigator.
What do I need to change, that the simulation can be solved?
To change tolerance values in EXECUTIVE CONTROL STATEMENT as suggested in the error description, is not possible in NX Nastran Design solver, right? How can I change it with this solver? Or do I need NX Nastran Desktop Solver?

Dear Sarah,
The message you send do not include the full report of the error, if the cause of the error is due for a very bad mesh quality in the *.F06 you will see written the element(s) number and the cause of the error (Aspect Ratio, etc..), but your message is incomplete, I do not see any element number. With NX Nastran if an element violates the minimun quality required simple the solver stop solution. In fact, you can include nx nastran keywords in the solution in order to avoid (to increase) the mesh quality check, but it is not recomended at all. Simply RE-MESH your model reducing your global element size and you will see that the mesh quality will increase, then NX NASTRAN solver will accept the model for solving.
Revise your geometry, simplify the geometry deleting (or supressing) very small details that will cause the mesher to create degenerated elements or highly distorted mesh, OK?

I have changed the mesh type and decreased the element size. Now it works.
