User warning message 4690 (fonotr)

Hello,

i had a problem with a SOL101 linear contact calculation.
When i use TET4-Elements, I don't get results for the contact pressure or
contact force.
Except from this, the results seem to be ok.
I also get the following message in the f06-file:

*** USER WARNING MESSAGE 4690 (FONOTR)
INSUFFICENT MEMORY ALLOCATED FOR THE CONTACT/GLUE ANALYSIS

The CPU-time is only a few minutes.
When i choose TET10-Elements, I get results for the contact pressure,
but the CPU-time is several hours. there is no user warning message btw.
Is there a way to use TET4-Elements AND get the contact pressure?

edit: I use NX Nastran 6.0 /Advanced Simulation NX6

Dear Renk,
I remember something similar when running old versions of NX NASTRAN, in today´s version of NX NASTRAN 7.0 software contact problems runs fine. Of course, avoid at all to use low-order CTETRA4 elements, instead use high-order CTETRA10 or better use CHEXA 8-nodes, 3D solid brick elements are perfect to solver contact problems, the accuracy of solution is great, specially in contact problems. And if you run SOL601 Advanced NonLinear solver, I strongly suggest to use CHEXA 20-nodes elements + ELCV=1 that will convert 20-nodes brick lements to 27-nodes brick elements, strongly recommended for contact analysis, and also with u/p elements (rubber material, plasticity, creep & Poisson rations near to 0.5).
Best regards,
Blas.

Thanks for the information, Blas.
I m doing a bearing analysis and try to have a nice contact pressure distribution.
According to your post I changed the element type from TET10 to HEX8 and had shorter CPU times and better accuracy, that means no spots with extreme high pressure values.
I also tried HEX20, with even better results but more CPU time.
