I have an assembly FEM which is made up of a number of other FEMs and Assembly FEMs. I would like to make groups of certain nodes and elements that are passed to a user sub-routine. However through this model's life the number of components of each type will change and if new components are added some of their elements and nodes will need to be added to groups. In order to make this possible I have defined the groups in the components so that they appear in the group list of the AFM.
Is there a way I can reference these groups in a journal based on the group name alone and not the object identifier of the FEM instance they appear in so that I can unite them?

Loop through all of the CAE.CaeGroup objects in NXOpen.CAE.CaePart.CaeGroups and compare the name of the group to the desired name using string methods in the language you are coding in (i.e. String.Contains() in VB)
