I am attempting to export an animation (kinematic motion simulation) from NX motion simulation to a .vfm file viewable in teamcenter visualization. I am able to export it, but i get broken references when I try to load the exported file. Does anyone have a similar problem/solution?
I don't get such issue. Is it when loading the JT file in teamcenter visualization or when opening the .vfm file, or in the playback?
It happens when I load the .vfm motion. A reconicle references dialouge appears and the motion playback window appears. However, there are no steps viewable in the motion window.
I know this is a very old thread, however I'm getting the same issue.
I'm creating the vfm file from NXopen and getting the same issue.
If I open this in jt2go or visview I get an extra node at the very top called the same as the vfm file name so in my instance it's call output.vfm
If I export it from the UI it works fine and the top node isn't present and the vfm imports into TCVis and plays back.
I managed to solve this by using NX11 to export the jt and vfm file. It is a known bug in NX10 and below.
