How to apply temperature pre-load using NX thermal results in NX10?

I'm using NX10. I have solved a thermal model, and mapped the temperatures to a structural model. I'm trying to solve the strucutral model using the mapped temperature result file (.bun) as a temperature load. However, in Solution - "Temperature Set" form, I couldn't specify any temperature distribution using the mapped temperature result file. In NX 9 or earlier version, I could do so though.

Re: How to apply temperature pre-load using NX thermal results in NX10?

Nastran temperature loads were overhauled in NX 10 to consolidate everything into temperature load sets.

You need to create a Temperature Load set. In that set, you create a temperature load. You have several choices of Type:

Temperature (which can reference a spatial field for magnitude)

Node ID Table

A new External time unassigned, which can be a file reference to a solver results file

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll use the temperature load option: "A new External time unassigned" for my problem. Does this mean if you have multiple temperature results, you have to manually create multiple temperature load sets and then solve?
