NX 10 Block UI Styler: Property Expanded of a group

Hello everyone!

I have created a dialog using the Block UI Styler. The dialog contains a group with a couple of elements inside. I want this group to be minimized, when the dialog is started. Therefore, I set the property called Expanded to be False. But instead of becoming minimized the group simply disappears from the dialog. Is there a solution for this? Thank you very much!

Best Regards

The expanded property should do what you want. The show property should do what you are describing as happening. Are you sure you've set the right one?

Hey JimB,

the show property is set to be true. Just to make it clear i've taken the screenshots.

This is what I want to get, namely I want subgroup 2 to be minimized:

This is what I get, setting the Expanded property of the subgroup 2 to False:

Here are the properties:

Are their active blocks in Subgroup 2's container item list?

It may be best to post the .dlx file and the source code.

I think you are running with Groups (Less). Click on the settings icon in the upper left corner of the dialog. Check either 'Groups (More)' or 'Show Collapsed Groups'

Yes, that was it! Thanks a lot!
