Hello Experts!,

I am running a Dynamic Response Simulation using **NX Response Simulation module (RS)** under NX10.0.2.6 and I get the following error when running the Random analysis:

Apparently everything is correct, the model is in mm and mass in Tons, but in fact, the computed response is not reasonable (by say a factor of 1000). Any comment is welcome, thanks!.

Hello!,

Reading the NX RS manual I see the following:

Well, I will change back to **mN-mm** in the NX NASTRAN (SOL103-RS) modal solution under **Advanced Solver Options** and see if problem now runs OK.

To late obviously as you found the info on the units. I had a similar issue because I was trying to run my own "macro" to post process rms results and wanted to "get rid" of hte message (ie click OK all the time). I was advised that this issue on units in the RS module was known in previous release (Nx8?) and should have been fixed. But it's still there. It might be worth "investigated" if this is really the case
