This capability is not available in NX 10.
Starting in Simcenter 11, if you run a NX Multiphysics Structural solution that contains a cyclic coupling, you will be able to display virtual sectors in Post Processing.
See the sollowing articles in the Simcenter 11 help:
The Cyclic Results button would be on the dialog shown if the model contained a cyclic coupling solution object AND if a Default Cyclic Symmetry Cylindrical CSYS were defined on the FEM options.
Because of the way that the new part files are created internally, coordinated system creation/selection for the FEM is not available in the New FEM and Simulation command.
If you use the New FEM option, you can create/select a cyclic csys there. If you really need to use New FEM and SIM, you can create them, then make the FEM the work part, edit it and then specify a Default Cyclic CSYS.
The good news is that you are not dumb
The Cyclic Symmetric Result button is currently only enabled in Post when it detects both a CYCSET and CYCAXIS definition in the Nastran .op2 structural results.
The model you supplied is a thermal only model so there is no .op2 file to trigger the button - there are only thermal results in a .bun file.
I created a structural model containing a Normal Modes subcase and using the two Cyclic Symmetry solution objects you had defined. The button is enabled for those results and a full model display can be generated.
Please contact GTAC and log an ER requesting that Cyclic Results display be enabled for thermal results.
