I am trying to model, using DDM, the movement of a robotic arm. The problem is that I cannot separate the movements of the components. I am trying to do that using velocities driven by spline curves. Let's say that component 1 has to translate for 4 seconds, and starting from this moment, so from second 4 to second 8, component 2 has to rotate. When I run the simulation, the two movements influence one another. I was expecting to see compoenent 1 move for 4 seconds, and after thta, to stay still, while component 2 starts to rotate. At the moment, the two movements are not separated.
