Applying pressure on meshed surface

Pioneer

Hello everyone,

I am trying to apply a pressure load on a meshed surface. I created a surface mesh and extruded to form a solid mesh (shown in the attachment). But I couldn't find a way to apply pressure on the surface (on the cross section surface). Can anyone help me with this? I am using FEMAP v11.4.1

Thanks in advance,

Sabiq

Thank you @Karachun for helping out. In the process, I am confused with a dialogue box "Face selection" as shown in the attached image. I am confused with which method I should follow. If it is adjacent faces, can you please explain what is the input for "Element" and "Tolerance" under the section "Selection Info"?

Thanks,

Sabiq

Select one face (when you move cursor around mesh faces are highlighted), Femap will find all adjacent faces with angle less than specified in tolerance (20 degrees is ok). Angle between edges on cross section and cylindrical parts is 90 deg so edges on cylinder surface would not be selected to apply pressure.

In addition press F1 when you in this window and you gen detailed help.
