Conducted a nonlinear analysis of a laminate wing fixed on one end, with an applied thermal load on a portion of its top surface. After clicking analyze, the Message Review Details screen states the following error many times:
***USER WARNING MESSSAGE 4012 (GP3D)
THERE IS NO ELEMENT, GRID POINT, OR DEFAULT TEMPERATURE DATA FOR TEMPERATURE SET WITH RESPECT TO ELEMENT ID = x
where x = thousands of different element ID's because the error message repeats for every element ID
I believe I understand this to say there isn't a reference temperature for the entire wing model? How would I go about setting a reference temperature for the wing model?

Let's try adding a Model-wide reference temerature - use Model - Load - Body, toggle on the Thermal Default Temperature and enter a value. Make sure you have the load set this body load is in, active in your analysis.
That reduced my errors drastically, but there a few more new ones now. Clearly the reference temperature problem has been fixed though as there are ~8 errors instead of one for every element ID reference temp. Image attached below.

Nonlinear analysis requires an initial temperature as well as the final or load temperature.
