Hello to all.
In earlier versions of Femap, some editing of the bodies was possible (offset of points, grid rebuilding)
In the latest versions of Femap, it is not possible to move points, an error appears:
"36 Point (s) removed from selection. Only complete solids can be moved using this command."
How to edit solids now

Yes, this is a know normal behaviour, according to FEMAP developers for FEMAP 12.0.x they decided to remove the ability to use the various “Move” commands to physically change the geometry. This functionality still exists, but you should now use the “Geometry Editing” tool with “Operation” set to “Project/Move Point” and “Project/Move To” set to “Along Vector” to accomplish the same things you could do before with “Modify > Move By > Point” and “Modify > Move By > Curve”, OK?.
I see the problem as well, I hope the new FEMAP V2019.1 version solve the problem. Meamwhile, delete the mesh, update the geometry using the MESHING TOOLBOX and mesh again.
I made a few macros to retrieve lost commands of FEMAP v11.4.2. You can try they. Here is my old post about these commands:
Unfortunately issue related to the mesh attributes will be the same.
Using MoveByEntities.BAS allows you to move points, but after updating the mesh again we get PLOT elements, and the old mesh does not disappear.
