Using the last version of Femap 2019.1, at the end of the Simcenter Nastran elaboration Femap give the following message:
"JUNE 19, 2019 SIMCENTER NASTRAN 3/22/19 PAGE 2
Creating Output Set 1...
Skipping Elemental Data Block (EType=67, OType=5, Set=1, Stride=193 )
Beginning Cleanup of Output Set 1...
Cleanup of Output Set 1 is Complete."
Results obtained seems correct.
I just have a couple of questions regarding your model:
Were there any solid elements present in the model?
Did you request output for thermal and/or elastic strain?
I see. FEMAP 2019.1 only reads thermal and elastic strain for certain element types (namely, shells). You have an elastic strain output request for a model with hexahedral elements present. Hexahedral elements are one of the unsupported types. The error message is letting you know that the datablock containing the results data for that is being "skipped" upon import of the .op2. If you switch off the output request for elastic strain, you shouldn't see the error message anymore:
Thermal and elastic strain results data will be supported for this element type in a future version of FEMAP.
Should you have any questions or the issue persists, please let me know.
