Glue without geometry, only mesh

I need to glue two parts together, but have no geometry definition, I only have the meshes.

I created a surface on the meshed areas to be glued, created regions and a connector but I get funny error messages. *** USER FATAL MESSAGE 4690 (SCTFCRL)
NO SURFACES OR EDGES DEFINED FOR CONTACT/GLUE REGION 6

But I have defined a surface and Glue region 6!

Is gluing with meshes possible at all this way, or do I have to create the geometry ang make a new geometry based mesh?

It can be done.

How did you set up your connector regions?

When you define the regions you can choose , surfaces, curves, elements.....

I realized that maybe you have created the surfaces but you did not associate the mesh to geometry. Thus, when the file is sent to the solver it can not translat the elements/nodes attached to surfaces and the error comes out. I guess this is the problem

So either you perform this step or you make contacts with elements.
