Hysteresis loop (Force-Displacement relationship) definition in FEMAP

Dear All,


I would like to thank you all for your support. I have a question about defining hystersis loop for an element (bridge bearing in my case) in FEMAP. Until now, the most I could do was to define C-Bush element with Force-Displacement relationship but the problem is that the element is simulated as a bilinear element while in fact some damping occures at each cycle of loading. The ideal definition would be like the following image. Is it possible to define an element with such properties ?

Look like stress-strain curve of bilinear material with kinematic hardening (mybe CBEAM or CROD but not CBUSH).

Note that line elements, like CBEAM/CROD may have some limitations for material types in different nonlinear solvers. Therefore you should make some investigation to know what solvers can use bilinear model or stress-strain curve as input.
