I am new to FEMAP and am working through tutorials. Currently I am struggling to constrain a plate when applying a load on one edge in order to obtain a buckling deformation. I think I am close but my buckling defelction is not central to the plate (this is a half wave buckle).
Any help would be appreciated and if you know a constraint set that will work please let me know and why it works, Thanks!

Looks to me like: 1. Far end constraints should be TX, TY, TZ. 2. Side constraints should be the two translations but not including the translation in the guide direction. 3. Constraint at the guide end should also be two translations but not including translation in the guide direction.
Based on what you describe and the picture, I don't think there should be any rotation constraints.
