Being new to Femap I struggle a bit with meshing my parts. I have no problem following the tutorials, which all seem quite simple geometries, but unfortunately, the parts we do are a lot more complex in shaping (picture below is a rather simple example). Is there a good tutorial explaining how to properly clean up such geometries (I did a clean up in Solidworks, but I would like to learn how to do that in Femap) and, more important, how to use more advanced mesh controls? e.g. how to manage, apply and modify mesh controls (e.g. size on curve/surface), how to use curvature control (currently meshing fails every time I try to use that) and the interactive editing. Until now, I did not find what I am looking for. Would be great if someone could point me to a tutorial with more information.
