You can write your FEMAP model for MARC using "File > Export > Analysis Model" and selecting the MARC interface in the form:
thanks for reply.
But I do not have such a window in Femap 11.2.
If I have Nastran or none analysis set, I can only export to files as shows the figure.
I have to create MSC.Marc analysis set and then I can create dat file for MARC.
I must test it.
And about that modal neutral file - have You ever heard about it?
Once you have the FEMAP model created you can export the finite element model to any analysis code. To see ALL analysis interfaces you must activate it under FILE > PREFERENCES > INTERFACES
Also if you plan to use FEMAP with MSC-MARC then activate this interface since the beginning under FILE > PREFERENCES > INTERFACES, then when you define your study under MODEL > ANALYSIS > NEW the interface that will appear is the MARC one.
Regarding the "modal neutral file" question, I understand that you need to define in FEMAP a study of the type "Normal Modes/Eigenvalue" and then generate the MARC input file.
You can request Nastran to output the MNF format with Case Control Commands. See the NXN documentation for MBDEXPORT and ADAMSMNF. These commands are not directly supported by Femap but can be inserted in the "Start Text" section of the "Master Requests and Conditions" form of the Analysis Set Manager.
