I attached a stlfile from the componenent.

 explain to me how you constrained the component?

I changed the fixed degree of freedom constreints to fixed constreint. The results are now closer to the results that you guys are getting. See the image down below.

Can you share model in .x_t format?

I get a error stating that the contents of the file doesn't match its file type. I can add the .x_t file to a 7zip archive.

Here is my results on simple model wits shell offset. Plates rules!Smiley LOL

You can import .dat file (in archive) to NX and watch constraints.

In NX 12 File->Import->Simulation.

@Vlincent: All the nodes of the holes are fixed in all 6 dof...  I didn't bother with a washer, this is irrelevant to the first mode.

@selex_ct: It is indeed MSC Apex, for no other reason than our NX license was in use to do productive work at the time.

Is there a difference between fixed constrained and fixed boundary degree of freedom? Because I got more realistic results with fixed constrained.

Yes, there is. Fixed Boundary is used for superelement creation (it places DOF in the B-set). It will not constrain the dof in a standard (non-superelement generation) analysis. You must use a fixed constraint for that.
