I have a model that has symmetry, so I only meshed half of it. When I look at the nodal results I am seeing as I get to the edge of the symmtery that there is a small decrease in temperature. But when I run a full model where I have a 360 degree mesh I do not have this small decrease in temperature. Could this simply be a post processing issue?

In a thermal model, a face with no boundary conditions *is* a symmetric face. In the absence of a boundary condition, a free face will have no flux in the normal direction. There are no "symmetric" boundary conditions to be applied.
