What conditions do I have to fullfill that NX is plotting the stress-strain curve over all plies in the post processing?
My model consists of a curved beam divided in the length with 5 polygon faces. Each face having one separate shell mesh. In the ply-based process I draped (with unidirectional draping solver) several plies over the faces 1 to 2, several plies from face 1 to 3 and so on. In the postprocessing "view laminate" dialog box I select for example an element from face 2 but the stress-strain plot across the thickness cannot be made. I tried it with only one mesh over all 5 faces and have the same layup, then the plot is made for some faces. But not for the face which has a ply only on this one face.

There has to be a zone computed in the FEM or the AFM that contains the element you select, and there has to be a ply result associated to the element. Also, the FEM has to match the results file (element, ply IDs, etc).
If that is the case, then I may have to look at your model.
