# Writing results for certain nodes over several subcases to a external table

Hello guys,

I have a solution including lots of subcases. Therefore I want to check the reaction forces in x, y and z direction for the same 5 nodes in all the subcases and list them in a table. Does anybody has an idea how to perform this in NX 9.0?

Georg,

You can generate the data using the Multiple Reduction command. Specify the type to be a graph and choose the start/end load cases appropriately. Define your expression (formula) as desired from your scalar results inputs. You can then select nodes, elements, or geometry along with different averaging/combining options. If you choose no averaging options, then you will get a graph for each of the selected entities. For example if my expression is DX (X displacement component) and I select 5 nodes for 10 load cases, then I will get 5 XY graphs showing results across all of the selected load cases.

The graph is stored in the post processing navigator. Listing the graph will show all the data for all of the graphs. Such as:

Graph Title: DX
Abscissa Label:Iteration
Abscissa Unit: Number
Ordinate LabelX
Ordinate Unit: mm

Data Format: Real Only
